When Veronica “Veron” Estrella decided to pursue a course in Floral Techniques at the Institute of Philippine Floral Techniques, it was driven more by her passion to put learned techniques into her arrangements which were mostly made solely for her home in Laguna rather than to put up a floral business. However, her desire to share this passion to others led to the establishment of Vonec’s Flower Garden.
Veron had considered flowers as an expression of one’s life events. When she offered to lend some of her flower arrangements displayed at home to the Village Club House to beautify the Sunday Services, it marked the start of showing others her artwork. Then came requests from her friends for her to design floral arrangements. Then, she decided to turn this passion to a business.
Being a business leader herself in the corporate world, she had developed her goal to always strive for quality and customer orientation, and never losing the personal touch. Her mission is to build memories through flowers. As such, her designs reflect the unique memories that the celebrators want to build out of the occasion. It is this level of personalized service that sets her apart. She ensures her personal involvement in the designs and styles that Vonec’s Flower Garden offers. To Veron, memories are highly personal and these are demonstrated in her arrangements.
